We are now looking for a Reporting Specialist who will join our team and assist us in making a valuable difference in the century to come. The Reporting Specialist will play a crucial role in generating financial reports, providing insights to support decision-making processes, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. You will be a member of our Finance & Control department and will play an important role in supporting our controllers within the Finance department. As a Reporting Specialist, you will work collaboratively with various departments to gather data, develop meaningful reports, and contribute to the enhancement of overall business intelligence.

What needs to be done?

  • Collect, validate, and analyze financial data from multiple sources to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Monthly actuals and ad-hoc reporting of financial (related) figures.
  • Generate and distribute routine financial reports to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team to contribute to the preparation of periodic financial statements.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
  • Preparation and support during month-end closing.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and ensure timely completion.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Respond to ad hoc data and reporting requests from various departments.
  • Assist in projects requiring financial analysis expertise.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, analytics or an equivalent.
  • 1-3 years’ experience working in Finance & Control.
  • A quick learner with attention to details and problem-solving abilities.
  • Reporting qualitative correct data while meeting deadlines and managing expectations.
  • Familiarity with financial principles and reporting standards.
  • Reporting knowledge for US GAAP and Dutch GAAP
  • Highly skilled in Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Fluent English language skills, both verbal and in writing (fluent in Dutch, both verbal and in writing is a bonus).
  • Experience with ISAH/Dynamics 365F&O is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% maximum.
  • You are available for 32 - 40 hours a week.
